Between the [[Plateau of States]] and [[The Trail]] was a natural valley in [[Forest Park]] that was converted to handle the outside exhibits of the [[Palace of Mines & Metallurgy]]. This area was referred to as the Mining Gulch. Here, people could see a coal, copper, or zinc, or gold mine.
