One form of Transportation within the fairgrounds was the miniature railway.

Description[edit | edit source]

Miniature Railroad was a three foot high locomotive that could handle roughly a dozen or so passengers at a time.

The trains were built by the Cagney brothers, and their miniature locomotives were a big hit at the Fair, the company constructed twenty (20) 15″ gauge 4-4-0s and four (4) 22″ gauge 4-4-0s which were used as public transportation on the fairgrounds.

There were eight miles of track.
