- Dedication of the Missouri State Building with a large parade.
- Dedication of the Indiana State Building. Rainstorm forced cancellation of the parade.
- Mark Twain Day. Although he visited STL in 1902 ceremony to place commemorative plaque at the Eugene Field House along with David R. Francis, it's unknown if he visited the Fair.
