  • David R. Francis Day. Francis presented with a gold and silver table service.
  • David R. Francis's Final Speech at the Fair.
  • 203,101 attend the final day.
  • Palaces close early.
  • Closing Fireworks ceremony at which President David R. Francis closed with, "Farewell, farewell to all thy splendor".
  • Lights turned off at midnight (with fireworks, of course).
  • After the final ceremony, the work of dismantling of the exhibits began. Exhibitors were given until March, 1905 to "remove all exhibits and facades" with the exception of foreign exhibits, which were allowed months due to constraints of the US Customs policies and procedures, although the bulk of it was completely removed by January 31, 1905.
