The Forestry Building was located in the Philippine Exhibit.
Before the Fair
Description
Made out of Philippine woods the building had a long veranda of bamboo, shaded with coils of rattan. A number of specimens of hardwood were shown, the most valuable of which is narra (padauk), often mistaken for mahogany. Also on display was an exhibit of gutta-percha and rubber, which could be found in chewing gum.
