Occupying several acres between the Palace of Agriculture and the Philippine Exhibit, was a collection of windmills.

Description[edit | edit source]

The lesson of the windmill section was, as taught in a variety of ways, that, given the wind, all things which require stationary power are entirely possible to the farmer.

Various windmills, or aeromotors, where on display. One of these mills not only shells corn and grinds it but lifts the meal to a loft in the barn. A buzz saw with sufficient force and speed to cut the winter supply of wood in two days. A pump which operates with a huge bucket to raise a large volume of water a few inches, irrigation windmill outfit.
