Overview In the Transportation Palace exhibits ate located by aisles and post numbers. Each post has its number. The north side of the building Is devoted to the domestic exhibits in groups 72 and 73. In the east half of the north side are the exhibits of automobiles, from manufacturers in the United States. The exhibit of Mexico is also on that side of the building. Next to the automobile section Is that of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, with the historical display of locomotives. France occupies the southeast section of the Palace. Next to France, on the south central side, comes Germany. West of Germany are the exhibits of Great Britain and Ireland, and in the southwest section of the Palace are the transportation exhibits of Japan. The Marine section Is installed in the west end, near the French exhibits. Through the center of the building, from east to west, are the exhibits of locomotives, railway appliances, the historical exhibit showing peculiar methods of transportation used in various countries, the exhibit of Brazil, and the testing plant for locomotives. To find an exhibitor, note the post number and aisle and the exact position of the exhibit in the building will be at once ascertained.
