Burgess, a KC engine company rep, and an unknown Post-Dispatch reporter or Abraham Harris, Chicago House Wrecking Co. President, and "a few others"). An article in the Post-Dispatch chronicled the experience in the following day's Sunday edition but appears to contain multiple inaccuracies and misstatements.
