- Apache warriors (prisoners from Fort Sill), arrived without Chief Geronimo. (Geronimo arrived at the Fair June 6, 1904 as a Federal Prisoner.)
- Grand Basin & lagoons were drained for several days to fix leaks.
- The Olympic Stadium (today's Francis Field), was declared open for competition.
