- At a meeting of the Board of Directors, a resolution was adopted to form 2 committees, one to consider and report to the Executive Committee at as early a date as practicable a plan for disposing of the property of the company and the other committee to consider and report to the Executive Committee a plan for the restoration of the grounds to park purposes. This eventually resulted in a contract with Chicago House Wrecking Co.
